Blake Mills

Blake Mills serves as a director and senior municipal strategist in the Fixed Income Research Municipal Credit Group. He works with sales and institutional clients to determine credit risk, support traders and institutional sales personnel, and help institutions stay proactive in an ever-changing regulatory environment.

Previously, Blake worked in our Portfolio Accounting department, where his primary responsibilities included managing 80 client portfolios on Reportfolio®, Raymond James®, bond accounting and reporting service.

Blake is a graduate of the University of Tennessee at Martin with a bachelor’s degree in finance and a minor in political science. He obtained his master’s degree in business administration from the University of Memphis.

Blake holds the following professional licenses: Series 7 (General Securities Representative), Series 63 (Uniform Securities Agent State Law) and Series 52 (Municipal Securities Representative. He is an active member of the National Federation of Municipal Analysts.
